There are no harmful effects of dental amalgam restorations in children’s brain development and neuro-psychological states, as issued by the experts of the American Dental Association. They examined the possible effects of dental amalgam fillings.
They also conducted neurological tests to evaluate the types of neurological inability separating it into indications of neural structure damages and nervous system dysfunctions that can direct sensory motor skills incapacity rather than brain damage. The children were also tested if there is existence of tremor.
The data researched indicated that there are no negative effects of amalgam fillings on children’s nervous system functions.
